What is the minimum order?
Our minimum run is 50 pieces. Orders smaller than that incure a charge. Please see our extras pricing page for more information
How can I get a free spec sample?
If you send us any assets that you have pertinent to your project, we will resize your original photos (not creating a painting
at this stage) and frame and mat them in your choice of frame and mat and ship this physical sample to you. See
Selling Our Product page for more information.
Can I get a random sample of your product?
We prefer to do free spec samples including assets that are pertinent to your particular project, but random samples
are available for a charge. Please call us if you would like a random sample. If you are looking for travel assets,
our stock catalog is extensive, and in this case we can make up samples with existing artwork.
How long does an order take?
For new paintings, from the date your order is acknowledged, we ask for between 4 and 6 weeks to complete the order.
We do not charge rush charges for orders that need to be processed faster than that. Orders of existing assets need
approximately 3 weeks. If you have a tight deadline, please call us, in the majority of cases we are able to meet the deadline.
Do you hand paint every image?
No. In order to keep our product affordable, we hand paint one original painting at 100% of the size it will be
reproduced and then prints are created by scanning and reproducing that original image. Please see Selling Our Product for a
step by step guide.
What is the smallest/largest painting you can do?
Our smallest paintings are 1.5 inches square, and we paint up to an image size of 7 x 9 inches.
How do I supply my assets to be painted?
We accept most digital forms of assets via email (such as jpegs or tifs), or you can link us to a website image if
you prefer. We do remind clients that the better the quality image you provide us with, the better the final painting will be.
Who is responsible for copyright issues?
By submitting to Global Miniatures, the customer represents that the use of the artwork will not violate any
applicable laws regarding trademark, patent or copyright infringement.
Do I get to see a proof before the order is completed?
We email proofs of finished paintings free of charge. Physical framed samples can be sent at cost. Custom inserts
and foiling are all proofed via email only.
Can I buy the original painting?
No. However, all original paintings are kept in our vault and are available for future orders.
Can I commission a one off painting?
Generally we do not do one off commissioned paintings due to the time invested in creating paintings. The cost
for this would be far higher than the art charges on our pricing pages.
What are your stock framing and mat options?
See our Stock Frames and Mats page for more information.
Can I order a different frame moulding or mat color?
Certainly. We carry the frames and mats on our Stock Frames and Mats page all the time, but we also custom order specialty frame
mouldings and different colored matting, which may or may not impact the turn around time. Please call us to
discuss if this is something you wish to consider.
Can you frame up existing assets I already have?
Sure! See our Global Framing page for more information.
Where is the company based?
We are located in Plymouth, Minnesota.
Do you manage the entire process in house?
The original paintings are all done in the UK, where all our artists are based, but all the manufacturing
of the product is done in-house at our factory in Minnesota.
Can you do individual drop shipping?
Yes. Please see our Extras Pricing pages for more information.
